Privacy Policy

SubtitleTools (“we”, “us”) provides free online tools for converting and cleaning up subtitle files. This page explains what happens to your data when you use the site.

Your subtitle files

Whenever it is technically possible, subtitle conversion happens entirely inside your own browser using JavaScript. Your file is read from your device, converted locally, and the result is offered back to you for preview, copying or download — it is never transmitted to our servers as part of that process, and we do not store, log, or have access to its contents.

Information we collect

We do not require an account, login, or email address to use any tool on this site. When analytics are enabled, we may collect standard, aggregated usage data (such as pages visited and general location derived from IP address) through Google Analytics, in order to understand how the site is used and improve it. This data is not tied to the content of any file you convert.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display advertising, including through Google AdSense, once enabled. Ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Third-party services

We may use third-party services such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense. These providers may process limited technical data (like IP address and browser information) under their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
